Expanded polypropylene foam material is a highly crystalline polymer/gas composite material with excellent performance. It has become the fastest growing environmentally friendly new type of pressure-resistant buffer insulation material with its unique and superior performance. EPP is widely used in automobiles, such as bumper core material, anti-collision block, ceiling and other lining parts; EPP has been widely used in packaging industry, such as electronic products, medical equipment, etc.; due to its non-toxicity and high temperature resistance, it is widely used in food packaging and microwave heating. The EPP material has the following advantages:

1. Good elasticity
2. Seismic and compressive
3. High deformation recovery rate
4. Oil resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, resistance to various chemical solvents

5. Heat resistance (-40～130℃)

EPP recycling is 100% doable with little to no degradation in performance, making it a truly environmentally friendly foam.

However with its lightweight and flexible shape, it’s hard for them to be put into the recycling process. In order to solve this problem and offer a better solution, GREENMAX produced a foam compactor, which can reduce the volume with 50:1 ratio. After processing by our shredder, it can be easily transported into the reprocessing line for re-granulating into pellets.
